John
Mackie, Senior Account Executive, Skyview Direct Mail, Inc.
John is the Senior Account Executive at Skyview Direct Mail &
Printing. He has been involved in the direct marketing industry for
over 18 years. His client list includes 1-800-Mattress, Pearson Education
and MSC Industrial Supply Corp. to name a few. He has also worked with
the marketing campaigns for Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Governor George
Pataki.
John
is currently a member of Direct Marketing Fundraisers Association,
Mail and Fulfillment Service Association of New York, Direct Marketing
Club of New York as well as The Direct Marketing Association of Long
Island. John also served on the board of the Long Island Direct Marketing
Association.
Treasurer
Bill
Egan, Circulation Manager, Henry Schein, Inc.
Bill joined Henry Schein, Inc. over 15 years ago, working the
entire time in the company’s in-house advertising agency, Schein
Creative Group. His first position with the company was as a Print Production
Manager. For the last 12 years he has worked as Circulation Manager,
working along with several of the companies marketing groups developing
marketing and circulation strategies, as well as a number of customer
loyalty programs. He also works in conjunction with a number of printers
and mail houses, developing cost effective mailing and distribution plans.
Prior
to working with Henry Schein, Inc., Bill worked for many years as
a graphic artist and later a Print Production Manager for a Trade-based
ad agency in NYC, Lawrence Associates, working on a number of national
accounts such as Duracell, UniLever, General Foods, Stroh’s
Beer and James River Corp.
In addition
to Bill’s involvement with the Direct Marketing Association
of Long Island, He is a long time member of the Long Island Postal
Customer Council’s Policy Committee.
Secretary
Peter Stein, Director of Business Development, Canterbury
Graphics Strategic Marketing
Peter
is the newest member of the CGSM team. Prior to joining CGSM he worked
for a full service direct marketing agency providing direct marketing
strategy, creative development, campaign planning, database marketing
solutions, production management, and results analysis to a diverse
client base including business to business, financial services, insurance,
non-profit, and publishing.
Peter
also worked with a Database Marketing Organization where he provided
his clients ways to enhance their marketing results through improved
targeting. The clients he directed through analytical and modeling
projects were primarily in the home equity market.
Peter
also served as an Account Executive for a large full service direct
mail production provider supplying production services and campaign
management on very complex programs to a large credit card marketer
and publisher.
Peter's
experience in direct marketing strategy, creating cost-efficient
direct mail, and knowledge of maximizing campaign results through
data targeting will be an asset to CGSM's diverse clients.
Peter
also has been published and participated in various speaking engagements
through industry trade associations.
Peter resides in Kings Park, NY with his wife Michelle and three children.
Kerry
Graham, The Martin Agency
Kerry Graham joined Cross Country Computer Corp. in September of 1997. As a Relationship
Manager at Cross Country Computer, he is responsible for the development of new
business while servicing and strengthening the client base already in place. Over
the past 9 years, he has consistently added value to the organization and its’ clients.
Prior
to joining Cross Country Computer Corp. Kerry was consistently ranked
among the top 50 players in the world on the International Racquetball
Tour. Much of Kerry’s current success is due to his ability
to successfully transition and adapt many of the skills and characteristics
he acquired in this earlier profession. These characteristics
include an intense work ethic, regimented routines and the ability
to produce a never-ending amount of sweat equity, all valid drivers
in his success at Cross Country.
Kerry
is a member of the Direct Marketing Association of Long Island, he
is a board member of the Direct Marketing Association Exhibitor Committee,
a member of the Direct Marketing Association, and the Direct Marketing
Club of New York.

Scott Fenwick, Fenwick Consulting & Training
Scott Fenwick founded Fenwick Consulting & Training over 15
years ago. Since that time, he has been assisting companies in the their
marketing and sales efforts through consultation and training services.
Included on Scott's client list are companies such American Express Bank,
Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Dale Carnegie Training, Eyeblaster Inc,
GHI, Hotbar.com, Strike LLC, Glenwood Management, Edith Roman Associates,
Quality Letter Services, Inc., Rickard List Marketing, and 24/7 Real
Media, Inc.
In addition
to Fenwick Consulting & Training, Scott has worked within such
prominent organizations such as 24/7 Real Media, Inc. Western Union,
B'nai B'rith International, Procter & Gamble and Scott Paper.
He has a special respect for the Direct Response industry where he
learned an industry as he worked at such distinguished data service
pioneers as Printronic Corporation of America, MAGI, Database America
Inc. and Direct Access Marketing Services.
As an
independent trainer, Scott is the senior Sales Advantage Trainer
for Dale Carnegie Associates and has developed custom training programs
for such companies as Rickard List Marketing, Eyeblaster, Inc., Hergo
Technologies, and 24/7 Real Media Inc. In addition, Scott has developed
numerous programs for New York area colleges and Universities including,
but not limited to New York University, Hofstra University and Queens
College.
Scott
is a currently a member of the Direct Marketing Club of New York
and the Direct Marketing Association of Long Island and has served
as President for three regional Direct Marketing Organizations; the
Direct Marketing Fundraisers Association, the Long Island Direct
marketing Association and The B'nai B'rith Communications Unit #5112.
A graduate
of Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration,
Scott's career has been centered within the world of Sales & Marketing
partnering within his own Marketing Agency and serving as the leading
Marketing contact withinhis divisions in a number of his positions.
Scott is married and has two daughters.
Larry
Pearl, FreshDirect, LLC
Mr. Pearl currently serves as Director of Business Development at FreshDirect,
the leading online grocer serving the New York market. He currently is building
their business-to-business capability as well as developing other new markets
for both residential and business markets.
Prior
to joining FreshDirect, Larry Pearl led corporate marketing and strategic
planning initiatives for Colorado Prime Foods.
Prior
to joining Colorado Prime Foods, Mr. Pearl was a Principal at Katalyst,
a venture and consulting firm focused on driving portfolio company
value though a unique combination of Venture Capital, Operational
Expertise
& Merchant Banking. While at Katalyst, he assumed role of Acting
VP Marketing and New Business Development for selected portfolio companies
and also led other teams of cross-functional experts to deliver other
non-marketing business-building services.
Prior
to joining Katalyst, Mr. Pearl was a co-founder of Ecom Advisors
LLC, a NYC-based ecommerce strategy consulting firm that specialized
in Marketing/Business Development Strategy. While at Ecom Advisors,
Mr. Pearl successfully built a consulting practice of over 16 clients,
both startups and traditional firms, in development of their ecommerce
and marketing strategies. Earlier, Mr. Pearl was a Marketing Manager
at NetGrocer.com. Prior to NetGrocer, Mr. Pearl was an Account Supervisor
with Poppe Tyson-Modem Media, the largest interactive agency. At
Poppe Tyson, Larry led cross-functional teams to develop and execute
Internet strategies for numerous Fortune 1000 clients. Before joining
Poppe Tyson, Larry worked in the traditional advertising agency business
for Ogilivy & Mather and Harte-Hanks Direct, in both Media Planning
and Direct Marketing.
In his
free time, Mr. Pearl was also a weekly columnist for Fortune Small
Business covering such topics as marketing, technology and business
development. He also taught a course for several semesters in New
York City's The Learning Annex titled "Successful Ecommerce
and Etailing."
Larry holds a Certificate in Interactive Technology & Business
Applications from New York University and a Dual BS Degree in Marketing
and Mass Media from Syracuse University. He is currently the President
of the Direct Marketing Association of Long Island.
Executive Director
Andy Calimano, Managing Partner, Starfish Junction Productions
Andy Calimano is Managing Partner for Starfish Junction Productions.
Andy has spent a large percentage of his career working in the direct
marketing industry. He is the Founder and CEO, of I on Long Island, a
direct and interactive consulting company.
He was Manager
of Affiliate Marketing, Direct for LinkShare and an Analyst in the
Research Department for Gruppo, Levey & Co (GLC). He was Editor
of GLC's annual Direct Marketing Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic
Activities Yearbook, acclaimed by the industry as one of the best resources
for industry transaction activity. He has a B.S. in Communications from
State University of New York at Fredoina and an M.S. in Direct and Interactive
Marketing from New York University. He is President of the New York University's
Master of Science Direct and Interactive Marketing Alumni Chapter and
is on the Board of Director of the Direct Marketing Club of New York.
